Family back garden
Our brief here was to design and build a garden suitable for the whole family to enjoy, with a sloping
site we created a 2 tiered garden with a large seating area on the lower level surrounded by mulched
planted borders and a lawn on the higher tier for everyone to enjoy including the dog.
We completed this outdoor entertaining space during the summer of 2017 to include a seating area, fire
pit area & fire globe and an outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, bbq and built in cooler box. As
the weather can be unpredictable we built 2 octagonal pergolas over the top to make it a year round
outdoor entertaining space.
Townhouse back garden
Following building work at this property we designed and landscaped this back garden to include a circular
seating area, low maintenance planting and a ground level trampoline. With access from the new extension
through bi-fold doors we built a wide step which really connected the outside space to the kitchen
in the newly built extension
This job fell under our countryside services and we were asked to completely re-fence 3 paddocks with
tensioned tornado horse netting. and erect new 5-bar gates throughout the property ensuring the owners
can make the most of their land by rotating their grazing through the year.
Low maintenance garden
The brief here was to create a low maintenance garden for a busy young family, we brightened up the dark
alley with mint sandstone paving and created a seating area, raised planters and an artificial turf
lawn. The look was finished off with a new shed and a place to hide the wheelie bins.
Following the completion of a toilet block at a local commercial site we were asked to re-turf the area
and top up the bark chip mulch to ensure the area was presentable to clients
The theme for this garden was Urban Jungle, As the plants mature thiss will be created through ussing
specimens with large lush leavvess, lots of evvergreens and quite simple flowers. The feel is enhanced
by the bespoke black trellis (which hides the boiler and the oil tank) throughout and slate grey
Again this job was done as one of our countryside services. Following some post and rail fencing we completed
for this client we were asked to clear out 60 tones of old soil and rubble, level the area and re-surface
using reclaimed road planings. This should eliminate the mud and water that has collected over the
last few winters.
When we first saw this small garden in a housing estate less than 10 years old it had become overgrown
and had a raised bed which had rotted away. We removed the overgrown plants, 30 tonnes of soil (all
through a 90cm gate) and replaced it with a new hedge, brick built raised bed, new turf and a base
for a new shed. Leaving the clients in a position where they could plant it up over the following
